Production

From Raw Rubber to the Finished Product

Every Eurogomma product is created through a complete, controlled, and customisable production process.

We start with the customer’s requirements and turn them into a technical rubber component, managing every stage: from material selection and rubber preparation to moulding and final finishing.

Our production process is designed to create custom components, including complex parts, while ensuring precision, flexibility, and production continuity.

A Process That Shapes Your Requirements

Rubber is a versatile material, but to become an effective technical component, it must be carefully selected, processed, and transformed.

For this reason, Eurogomma manages production with a technical and flexible approach, assessing the most suitable material, the correct process, and the required final result for each project.

Production Process

Every Stage Under Control

Eurogomma’s production process combines technical expertise, in-house manufacturing, and constant monitoring at every stage.
From design to final finishing, each step contributes to the overall quality of the finished product.

Prototyping and Design

Every project begins with an analysis of the customer’s requirements. At this stage, the shape, function, materials, technical specifications, and production methods are assessed. The goal is to identify the most suitable solution before moving on to actual production. The design phase makes it possible to turn an idea, a drawing, or a technical problem into a practical and manufacturable component.

Rubber Selection

Material selection is a fundamental stage of the process. Eurogomma selects the most suitable compound based on the required performance: elasticity, resistance, hardness, thermal behaviour, colour, compatibility with other materials, and intended use. Storing the compounds in a controlled environment helps maintain consistent material quality before processing.

Material Preparation

Before moulding, the rubber is prepared according to the type of product to be manufactured. The material can be cut, shaped, portioned, or prepared in different formats to ensure precision during the next stage. This phase also includes dedicated processes for changing the rubber’s colour and managing semi-finished products.

Cutting and Unwinding

Cutting and unwinding operations prepare the rubber according to precise dimensions, thicknesses, and quantities. These steps are essential for obtaining material ready for processing, reducing waste, and ensuring production continuity.

Sandblasting and Priming

When a product requires rubber-to-metal bonding, surface preparation becomes essential. Eurogomma carries out sandblasting and primer application in-house, creating the ideal conditions for the rubber to adhere to the metal substrate. Controlling this stage helps improve the quality of the rubber-to-metal bond and the reliability of the finished component.

Extrusion and Milling

Depending on the product to be manufactured, the process may include specific technical operations such as tube extrusion and milling. These processes make it possible to prepare components, supports, or semi-finished products for subsequent assembly, moulding, or finishing stages.

Moulding

Moulding is one of the key stages in Eurogomma’s production process. Using injection and compression moulding presses, the rubber is shaped into the required form under controlled temperature, pressure, and time parameters. The use of dedicated mould materials and production technologies makes it possible to manufacture technical rubber products with specific and repeatable characteristics.

Finishing and Quality Control

After moulding, the product is finished and inspected. Deflashing, trimming, and grinding operations complete the component, improving its precision, appearance, and functionality. Each part is checked to ensure compliance with the required specifications and Eurogomma’s quality standards.

Rubber Solutions for Roll-to-Roll Processing

Eurogomma manufactures rubber strips for rolls, developed according to the customer’s production requirements.

These processes require careful material selection, consistent thickness, and close attention to product continuity.

The strips can be customised in terms of size, technical characteristics, colour, and intended use, providing a flexible solution for a wide range of industrial applications.

Custom Parts, Dedicated Materials, and Tailor-Made Processes

We can manufacture small technical parts, more complex components, custom products, prototypes, and continuous production runs.

The combination of experience, machinery, and expertise in materials enables us to create tailor-made solutions while maintaining control and quality throughout the entire process.

From Requirement to Solution

Every rubber component begins with a specific requirement. Eurogomma supports customers in transforming that requirement into a finished, functional, and reliable product.
